To use our childcare services, you must complete the registration process by providing accurate and up-to-date information. If any details change, such as emergency contacts or health information, it is your responsibility to update us immediately.

2. User Account, Password, and Security

Upon registration, you will create an account to manage bookings and view your child's progress. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Should any issues arise with your account, please notify us immediately. We strive to keep your personal information secure, in compliance with data protection laws.

3. Code of Conduct

At North Star Childminder, we create a positive and inclusive environment. We expect all users—parents and guardians included—to engage respectfully with our staff and other families. Any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of services.

  • Ensure timely drop-offs and pick-ups as agreed in your booking.
  • Provide us with all necessary medical and dietary information to keep your child safe.
  • Maintain open communication with us to ensure your child's needs are met.
  • Respect our policies on cancellations and amendments to bookings.

4. Cancellations and Amendments

We understand that plans can change. Should you need to cancel or modify a booking, please inform us as early as possible. For cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled care, a cancellation fee may apply. Modifications to existing bookings are subject to availability.

5. Payment and Fees

All fees must be paid in advance as per our payment schedule. Late payments may result in the suspension of services until full payment is received. We accept payments via bank transfer and childcare vouchers. If you require assistance with government funding schemes such as tax-free childcare, please contact us for more information.

6. Health and Safety

Your child's safety is our top priority. We follow strict health and safety protocols, including regular hygiene checks, first-aid preparedness, and safeguarding policies. In the event of any health concerns or emergencies, we will immediately contact the designated emergency contacts provided during registration.

7. Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We are committed to providing inclusive care for all children, including those with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). If your child requires additional support, please inform us during the registration process so we can tailor our services to meet their specific needs.

8. Termination of Services

North Star Childminder reserves the right to terminate services in the event of non-payment, inappropriate behavior, or breach of our terms and conditions. In such cases, we will provide appropriate notice and work to ensure a smooth transition for your child.

9. Amendments to Terms

North Star Childminder reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary to reflect changes in our services or policies. We will notify you of any significant changes that may affect your usage of our services.
